ObjectiveThe capacity and competences to ensure sustainable access to drinking water and sanitation in Belladère are available and management systems are operational. Main results- New drinking water infrastructure ensures sustainable access to drinking water for 10,000 individuals in Belladère;
- 450 families have access to improved irrigation technology at Croix Fer through rehabilitation of their existing systems.
- Access to basic sanitation is increased in the Belladère municipality with the construction of latrines;
- Local management structure ensure the sustainability of the water services (irrigation and drinking water), involving end users, local authorities and state services;
- 50 % of the users of drinking water end 2 bad habits in relation to hygiene and environment;
- Farmers increase their yield in Belladère through a pilot ecological sanitation project.
