Target groups- 15.000 extra inhabitants in Camp Perrin and Cavaillon have access to drinking water and sanitation.
- About 20.000 indirect beneficiary that visit the city Camp Perrin regularly.
ObjectivesTo improve the access to basic services (drinking water and basic sanitation), and the sustainable management of these services, by an innovative cooperation between the local actors in two municipalities in southern Haiti.
Main results- Drinking water infrastructure is constructed for 15.000 new users in the municipalities Cavaillon and Camp Perrin.
- 10 latrines and model sanitation infrastructure are installed in schools and health centres.
- At least 80% of the water systems in Camp Perrin and Cavaillon are managed in a participatory and sustainable manner.
- At least 75% of the users are satisfied with the service, and pay for the water consumption.
- A sensitization strategy leads to better behaviour of the population in terms of hygiene and sanitation.
